Great Gull’s home is located in Fairfield, Connecticut, United States. Admittedly, it would be easy to hide away here for a week or more, without making much contact with anyone other than the gulls. That being said, Fairfield is also rich in foodie and entertainment options. Food: From pasta to pizzas, seafood to sushi, barbecue to burgers, and way beyond, you’d be hard-pressed not to find something for everyone, just blocks from the cottage. Brews: There is also a major movement of local area micro-brews, available in and around Fairfield, for those in need of adult beverages. Tunes: There is plenty of great live music and entertainment at the Fairfield Theater Company and the Quick Center (Fairfield University), and one of the state’s best weekly open mic night’s at the Acoustic Cafe in Black Rock.
