We loved staying in Stonington. The house was newly renovated and beautifully done. It was close to everything and the instructions and especially the online guidebook was so helpful. We loved the little details such as an iron/ironing board, soaps, shampoo/body wash in the showers. It was especially nice not having to do anything with the linens, garbage, etc. for check out. They do it all for you! The kitchen was very nicely equipped with everything you could need, even fresh ground coffee and teas. Especially loved the nautical theme and the rope light fixtures! The only thing is there are narrow stairs from the yard up to the 2nd floor. It was okay for us but a little awkward carrying heavy suitcases. I think the stairs would be an issue for older people or anyone that has trouble getting up stairs. Also, there were people staying on the first floor with a dog and a baby and I think they were a bit annoyed as they could hear us walking around upstairs.
We had a wonderful stay in every way and hope to be back! Gerard was a fantastic host and communicator!
The house had wonderful architectural elements that were nice. The artwork that hung up was very pretty and pleasing. The beds were great. It’s a very functional kitchen. And it was nice to be 15 minutes away from Mystic and not in the middle of Mystic where it’s crazy. The host was wonderful and communicated very well through Messaging through Airbnb if there was a concern.
Great spot so close to town. Very clean. Great accomodating host! We were very happy overall and so glad we booked this spot for a weekend wedding we attended. Exactly what we were looking for!

Two friends and I headed here for the weekend for a respite in lovely Stonington. We spent Friday night eating at a restaurant right down the street and then we spent the majority of the day Saturday at the casino since the weather did not cooperate with us. The house was lovely and well situated. The host was awesome, super responsive and gave so many suggestions for the area. The one thing I will point out is that you are on the second and third floor of a two family house and so the first floor is also rented out. It may have been apparent in the description. I just did not catch it the first time. Also worth noting, the third bedroom that has bunkbeds is not really suited for an adult. There is minimal spacing between the first bunk and the top bunk. I was afraid I was gonna hit my head in the middle of the night to be honest. In addition to that the top bunk was just too wobbly for me to feel secure sleeping. Definitely fine for a couple of kids.
Absolutely beautiful home and great host. Accommodated us with short notice and even helped us with an earlier than planned check out as we had to leave due to the upcoming storm. Overall, great location, great home, and great time!!!

Fantastic stay within walking distance to plenty! Great place for family to spend the week and Gerard couldn’t have been nicer. Bunk bed room stayed nice and dark in the morning, which was great with the kids!

This unit is a nice space for a getaway in the Stonington/Mystic area. It is walkable to Stonington borough, but is a bit of a walk through a park and over a bridge. The unit is in a house that has another unit attached to it. The unit was clean and the space was nicely updated. The kitchen was well equipped with everything that would be needed to cook meals if desired. There was coffee, tea, sugar, olive oil, spices provided. The laundry room is in the basement and there is no laundry basket so plan accordingly if you desire to do laundry while you are there. There was laundry detergent and fabric softener provided which was convenient. There was a highchair in the unit, but no children's books that were advertised. Overall, I would recommend the unit for a stay in the area, but the description of the property is a little misleading as I outlined in the review.

This property was fantastic! The host was very communicative and checked in with us during our stay to ensure everything was going smoothly. There was very clear instructions and resources for guests, plenty of parking, an out door space. The rental also came with many amenities including coffee maker and coffee, spare toiletries, feminine hygiene products, baby equipment, tons of closet space, plenty of pillows and towels, etc. It felt like we were at a bungalow curated by a resort hotel. Truly a stand out experience!
My wife and I travelled to Mystic for our 1st family trip since having our newborn son and we had a wonderful time and wonderful stay here. Very clean, tidy. Close to everywhere. Gerard was so friendly, responsive and attentive to our needs. Truly made the trip feel effortless. We will definitely be back in the future and highly recommend this location for anyone traveling with groups or young children

My family and I stayed here for our end of summer trip. In total, we were two adults and 3 kids under 10. We had a wonderfil time. There was just the right amount of space. The bunk beds were a nice touch because all 3 kids wanted to be in the same room. The massive fields right across the street were also wonderful for the kids to run and play. No one was there the times we went. The proximity to Old Mistick Village and the Big Y Supermarket was wonderful as well. We did many activities nearby including the Aquarium and we also highly recommend spending the day at the Mystic Seaport Museum. There’s something for everyone there! The home was great, hosts were responsive, any issue we had was solved promptly. The grill in the yard and the yard space was also a wonderful touch. The kids have declared that they will be staying here again, and I agree! If we’re ever back then we will stay. The master bedroom upstairs is also spacious and there is a dedicated workspace as well.

We’re two Northern Ireland broads abroad — one now living in Belfast, the other in Guadalajara — nearing the end of a New England road trip that had already given us many opinions about lobster rolls, and places we should move to. And then we arrived in Stonington. This was our final stop, and it was what we didn’t know we needed. Beautiful, comfortable, spotless, and thoughtfully put together without feeling remotely like a place designed by an algorithm. It felt like home. Stonington Borough may be one of the loveliest places we found on the entire trip: water, boats, gorgeous old houses, wonderful food … By our final morning, we were discussing how we might arrange our lives so we could simply stay. We couldn’t. Apparently Airbnb has rules about this. So we packed the car and headed for Boston, very reluctantly.
