The house was beautiful and perfect for walking to town. The host was responsive, and we did not have a single issue with the home. It is clean and charming and a treasure in Mystic. We had a wonderful time!

Perfect location for USCGA Commencement week. First class accommodations. Beds comfortable and linens superb. 3 full bathrooms were a treat for having multiple guests. Wonderful outdoor spaces -shade or no shade. Large fridge to accommodate everything we needed for our New England seafood feast. Pet friendly-no fee. Easiest check out we’ve ever had-nothing to do but run dishwasher! Trash and recycling taken to curbside for you during visit. Would stay again and highly recommend this beautiful, historic home. Fantastic stay! We had a sibling reunion and the house was wonderful. So many places to gather (8 of us) with the 2 porches and comfortable family room, it worked out great. Absolutely perfect location in Mystic and Gerard was very responsive as well. Highly recommend!

Great Gull's Sunny Victorian Gem in Downtown Mystic was the perfect accommodation for our family wedding weekend. We had an elderly, limited-mobility member of our family in the first floor bedroom and dedicated the nearby bathroom to that person's needs. That family member could negotiate the terrain from the driveway to the back patio and then into the rear door of the house thereby minimizing stair climbs. The rest of our family enjoyed the three bedrooms and two full baths on the second floor. Our mobile family members enjoyed walking to restaurants, bakeries and breweries. Being able to fit a minivan and a compact SUV on the driveway was really useful as parking in downtown Mystic is both limited and expensive. Great Gull was both proactive in his communications as well as exceptionally responsive when questions arose. Would 3 hotel rooms have been cheaper? Maybe, but unlikely to be as convenient or as charming at a lower cost.

We really enjoyed our long weekend in Mystic! The house is in a perfect location, very close to the restaurants and shops. Gerard provided clear instructions regarding access to the house and was very responsive when I had a question. The house was as described and was very comfortable for our group, which was in town for a family reunion. The house was also very clean upon check-in. Thanks for a wonderful experience!

We loved our stay here! It was immaculate, peaceful, care-free and easy. Everything we could possibly need was in the house, they really thought of everything. 5 of us were staying at this suburb home for my sons wedding. The house is beautiful and better than described. We all felt at home with plenty of space for all of us. The house is very well situated indeed. We walked to a fabulous bakery every morning for cakes and coffee. We all really loved this home, I highly recommend.

We were a multigenerational family - from 80's to baby - staying in Mystic for a wedding, and this place was perfect for us. Lots of stuff for kids, like toys and high chair; then also a bedroom on 1st floor, and walk-in shower made life easier for the older crowd. The house was huge with lots of space for everyone to spread out. Easily walkable to the downtown strip of Mystic with lots to do and eat. Totally spotless, lots of sweet touches like fresh flowers by the sink and a spideman toothbrush, and the hosts checked in to make sure everything was going great. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

Absolutely BEAUTIFUL place with a fully fenced in backyard that our dogs loved. Gerard has thought of everything — from a dispenser of dog waste bags in the backyard to a fantastic kitchen. We rented the house for my wife’s family to stay at during our wedding weekend and even hosted a small brunch the day after the wedding, and the entire experience was 10/10.

Gerard was a perfect host, checking in proactively at regular intervals - we felt very cared for! What a wonderful spot! Thanks so much for having us, we'll be back.

Gerard's large Mystic family house was absolutely perfect for a Christmas holiday. Warm, cosy and incredibly family friendly. It served as a great family hub. The well equipped and large kitchen meant cooking for 7 was a breeze. The decor was really well put together throughout the house, and everyone was very happy with their respective bedrooms. Mystic itself is beautiful, and Gerard's home is situated in the perfect location at the top of the high street. All of the best restaurants (and there are lots!) are a 5 minute walk away. We'd love to come back again! Thanks Gerard!

This house is beautiful! Very clean and spacious, and just steps to great restaurants in downtown Mystic! The host was very thoughtful down to having a sound system and makeup remover for guests in the bathroom. Highly recommend!

This house was perfect. We had a group of ladies celebrating my sister. There was plenty of room for everyone to relax and have fun. It was clean and very comfortable. There was parking in the driveway and plenty on the street. Gerard was great! We had great communication and he was eager to help and please us in any way. He is very personable and kind. The location was super close to the main strip of food and shops. We walked everywhere. If we visit Mystic, CT again with my family, I would absolutely stay here again.

My group of 6 (my husband and our two small children ages 3 and plus my parents and myself) enjoyed a lovely spring break week here. The house is charming, well maintained, and in a great location. We had plenty of space inside plus there are two separate outdoor areas to enjoy. Everything you need for a comfortable stay is included (linens, basic toiletries, kitchen basics) and there are even baby items (high chair, gates, pack n play, and toys). I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend to others looking for a great home away from home in Mystic!

Super close proximity to the Main Street in Mystic. Literally a block away. Really convenient. House was spacious and the host Gerard was extremely responsive and easy to communicate with. Was with a larger group of friends who left at various times and was able to accommodate our different schedules.

This is an extraordinary house. Spacious and comfortable. Clean and modern. We especially enjoyed the 2 patios where we could gather in the early evening for a glass of wine and conversation. We stayed at Great Gull for a girlfriends reunion. The house was perfect, clean, spacious, and great outdoor seating for late night conversations. The house was stocked with anything you needed and very clean. The communication with the host was extremely responsive. The location could not be any better, a wonderful quick walk into town for dinners, shopping and early morning sweets and coffee at the local bakeries. Just an overall wonderful experience.

Perfect house and location. Better than we even imagined. Only a block from central mystic seaport and a plethora of stores and restaurants. The house has every amenity imaginable. Big screen TVs, Alexa and speakers, even spices in the kitchen. Charming decor and 2 beautiful patios with outdoor furniture. It would be impossible to find a better place than this one!

This place was THE BEST! Our host reached out before we even arrived; he called to ensure all was well during our stay. It was all the little thoughtful things that impressed me: baby oil & cotton squares for makeup removal and books in each bedroom. The property is spectacular and immaculate. The layout is fantastic, as there are nooks and crannies to snuggle into with a good book wherever you are inside or outside. Bathroom accommodations were good: shower gels and shampoos, plenty of bright white towels, and facecloths (some cloths in dark colors). The place is decorated lovingly. We were around the corner from the main street so we could walk to dinner, shopping, drinks, etc. Had a great jazz night and ate plenty of oysters. The location is ideal. We parked 2 cars easily in the driveway and never had to move them again the whole time we were there. I cannot wait to return!

One of the best Airbnbs I've ever stayed at! Everything was just as described in the listing, if anything, the house and hosts exceeded our expectations. Great communication from the hosts, they checked in with us to make sure we were doing okay. When there was a minor problem with one of the air conditioners, someone came out to take care of it right away. The house was beautiful and spotless top-to-bottom. Great location, right off Main Street, but very quiet. The beds were so comfy the five of us all slept great. I would not hesitate to stay again and I highly recommend this wonderful house to anyone looking for a great vacation in Mystic

We had a lovely stay in Mystic - super close to downtown and a well equipped house. Our friends brought their 1 year old and were pleasantly surprised to find toys and a high chair! Everyone congratulated me on finding such a sweet spot.

We had a spectacular weekend escape! It was a rainy few days and this home made it so wonderful to decompress and relax inside. The location made it easy to walk to the restaurants and shops. One of my favorite things was walking to the bakery in the morning and returning to the house to enjoy on the patio before the rain started. It was so peaceful watching the birds. Gerard was a great host and was quick to respond and made sure our visit was as wonderful as it could be. The attention to details is what made us feel pampered. I only wish that I had booked a longer stay. We will be back for sure.

We absolutely loved this house and how accessible it was to town. It was perfect for our family to unwind after a long day and gladly hop back out onto the town. The host was so accommodating and proactive about our checking in and out, which we were so grateful for traveling with a toddler. Couldn't recommend more.

We spent a lovely Thanksgiving week at Gerard’s home. The house is lovely, very beautifully decorated, beds were comfortable, plenty of towels and other amenities. Every room has a television and the appliances in the house were all very easy to use. We really appreciated the coffee, tea and welcome basket that was left for us! Gerard was extremely responsive and available when we had a question about the heating as well as to request an earlier check-in if possible. There is excellent customer service here! The area is lovely and walkable distance to where one of our family members now lives so I would expect that we will be back in the future without a doubt. Thank you so much Gerard and team!

Just returned from three nights at this gorgeous property. Not only is Mystic beautiful, this house complimented the experience perfect. Here are highlights: Location: This is walkable to downtown Mystic (just around the corner from Mystic Pizza) so you can have coffee at the bakery or other delicious meals nearby. The driveway is big enough for two cars. House: I love that it's a historic home from 1854. There is so much charm in the home with large plank pine floors but also modern amenities - a wide open modern kitchen stocked with everything you need (dishes, glasses, spices, coffee/tea) and a dining room with lots of seating. Bathrooms and Bedrooms: The beds were very comfy and included really soft, white linens. The bathrooms were adequate and very clean with all necessary amenities. The bedrooms were larger than we expected. Outdoor space: There is a great deck area and front patio seating to gather. Gerard was very communicative and checked on us. Thank you for a great stay!

The Great Gull property at 92 High St. provided the perfect spot for a family getaway. There was plenty of room for the 7 of us to spread out and have some privacy but also spend time together. Gerard and the Great Gull staff have done a wonderful job updating this beautiful historic home, creating a welcoming and comfortable environment. The house was well-stocked with necessities, and little touches like stools in the bathrooms for kiddos to reach the sink and USB adapters by some of the beds made for an effortless stay. The location is very convenient - a short walk to some great shops and restaurants and close to larger attractions like the Mystic Aquarium and Seaport Museum. Gerard is a very responsive host, responding quickly to questions and providing some excellent recommendations. I look forward to staying at a Great Gull property in the future!

This is one of the best Air B&B’s we have ever stayed at. The house itself is gorgeous and roomy and perfect for large family gatherings. It was VERY clean, the beds were comfortable and had sufficient supplies including coffee and creamer. The location is absolutely perfect. Very walkable to the Main Street in Mystic with all the shops and restaurants as well as the drawbridge. We even were able to walk to the Mystic Seaport Museum. Check in was easy with GREAT communication from Gerard throughout our stay. It was so nice that we were able to check in early. Check out could not have been easier. One of the best things is that you don’t have to strip the beds, take out the garbages, sweep the floors like so many other places we have stayed at. It was so easy to just pack up and tidy up as well as start the dishwasher. That was very much appreciated. I would definitely recommend staying at this beautiful home. I cannot say enough good things about it and about the owner.

This house is absolutely stunning and was perfect for our Memorial Day weekend getaway. It was fully equipped with everything that you could possibly need and incredibly clean. AC's worked wonderfully for being window units. Bathrooms were fully stocked, 2 stand up showers and one tub, even laundry on the second floor. It's about a 30 second walk to downtown, where all the action is, restaurants and shopping. The beach is close by and the aquarium is a short drive away. The backyard has a beautiful pergola with a large table, a side yard for some sun and a covered front porch for more relaxing space. Ample parking for two in the driveway. Gerard made it possible and was super responsive, he even accommodated us to check in early (ask requested) and checked in on us during our stay. We will be making this house permanent for our annual Memorial Day weekend getaway! Thank you Gerard for making the process easy, stress free and most importantly, an amazing weekend for my family!

Perfect house for a family get together. Big dining table inside and outside that seated 9 of us easily. Common space away from first floor bedroom was an added bonus for sound reduction. Incredible location half a block from downtown. Gerard was very attentive & responsive and even went to the house to take extra photos for me to ensure the house could accommodate a wheelchair for my mother. Highly recommend.

Spent a long weekend with family, including one infant. Great location— walking distance to main strip in Mystic. Large house, 4 good sized bedrooms with 3 full bathrooms —- perfect for a big family, everyone had their own space. Very comfortable beds. Great outside space in front and back of house— while right in the heart of downtown Mystic the outside space was very private. From some bedrooms could hear traffic and cars outside but generally felt like an oasis. House was beautifully decorated, very comfortable lounge area and great big dining room table. Kitchen had everything you need but wasn’t overly stocked. Check in and out was very easy. Host was incredibly responsive. Would definitely recommend!

This location is perfect, 2 minute walk to downtown Mystic! I hosted my sisters bachelorette here and the private back deck was perfect for hosting a garden party event. The host is very responsive and checked in to make sure all was well each day. If we’re ever back in Mystic, we will be back here for sure !

We were so impressed with the decor, amenities, and location of this property. The host reached out to make sure our arrival and stay were all satisfactory and our stay was going well. In addition other members of our large family had rented another unrelated property for my Dad’s funeral. They arrived to find no heat. They quickly found another Great Gull property which comfortably accurate the other half of our large party. We were very happy with the careful attention to detail.
