Mystic CT

This newly renovated, historic 1 BR/1 Bath former school house, is located directly on the Mystic River with amazing views of the Drawbridge. It started life as a one room school house. It was moved in 1857 to its current location, as an extension to the main house, which is also available. This cottage sleeps 4 comfortably. There is an abundance of outside space to BBQ, enjoy morning coffee, or have a glass wine while you enjoy watching the activity on the river

The space

Sure, we’re biased. But this cottage has the best of both worlds: sunlit indoor rooms, meticulously restored and furnished to embrace its history as a school house, plus outdoor space for entertaining, reading, or just lying around. There are great views of the Mystic River. The cottage, a restored, historic school house, also has a fully stocked kitchen and washer/dryer. There is WI-FI, cable TV and Amazon Plus so you can stream your favorite movies and shows. The family and dining areas are spacious and cozy. We are located on the river, across from the Seaport and very near the famous drawbridge.

Guest Access:
Guests have access to the entire cottage. Guests also have access to a great outside garden area with umbrellas, tables, chairs, BBQ grill, and amazing River views. We also have bikes and Kayaks that are available to guests as well. The cottage is behind the main house, which is also available. It is, however, completely separate with its own full kitchen, washer dryer, and entrance. There is also ample parking.
