The space

Sure, we’re biased. But this house has the best of both worlds: sunlit indoor rooms, meticulously restored and furnished to embrace it’s history with a funky twist, and there is plenty of outdoor space for entertaining, reading, or just lying around. There are great views of the Mystic River. Both kitchens are fully stocked with all the basics and equipment you need. In addition, we have items like, coffee, tea, creamer, and sugar. Plenty of condiments and basics. You have access to the main house and the cottage. The main house (Captain’s House) has three bedrooms and two full bathrooms. Separate from the main house you can enjoy our lovely cottage (School House) with a queen size bed and a full bathroom on the second floor. The cottage, a restored, historic school house, also has a fully stocked kitchen and washer/dryer. The entire home has WI-FI, smart TVs, and an Amazon Alexa/Sonos system. The family and dining rooms are spacious and cozy, and a great place to enjoy gathering with family and friends. We are located on the river, across from the Seaport and very near the famous drawbridge.

"Far and away the most picturesque and well-appointed property that I have ever stayed. I'd love to keep it a secret, but the owner is far too gracious and attentive to follow through."
